On this episode of “my bullet journal this month” I will be talking about my great adventures in planning and experimenting with new things!
While setting up November, I had it all filmed and almost edited! When my computer pulled the plug on my creativity and deleted it all! So I am going to kick it old school and do a written plan with me instead, showing you lots of pictures!
I finally decided to try out that beautiful calendar wheel that I have been seeing everywhere! To do this, I used my compass to create a perfect circle and then made two smaller circles inside of the first. Then I got out my calculator, and divided 30(days in november) by 360(the circle). That produced 12… Meaning I needed to use my protractor and create lines at every 12 degrees around the circle to make each day the same and fill the circle.
Did ya’ll get that? If not and you would like me to do a video on my YouTube channel showing you how, just comment below!
Next I filled in all the dates and then looked at my plans for the month. I randomly wrote them around the surrounding area, close to the date they belong to and drew a line to the day. Then I color coded! Though I do not quite like how I wrote and colored the plans in… Change to make next time!
I decided to stay away from the tracker on a big scale and instead use it on a smaller, weekly scale… Maybe keeping up with it better!
Weekly(s) & Dailies
So, as my recent usual is, I have a bullet journal for college, blogging, and home/everyday life.
My college bujo is a notebook from paper penguin co on etsy and suit me well enough to get through the rest of the semester. BUT… I will be going to a plain dot grid notebook for spring semester for a little more freedom in design;) As I talk about it here in this post.
My blogging bujo is in the same boat as my college one, still just using it for reference and goal setting.
The bujo that holds my soul, or everyday life is more freeing. I am still loving and using the vertical dutch door system and do not think that it will be changing anytime soon! I moved into a beautifully colorful insert by Yellow Paper House. I LOOOOOOVE their inserts!
You can check out my video on the vertical dutch door too!
My brand new Keelindori is all set up and ready for constant use, but what the heck am I doing with that 2.5″ spine and 8 inserts?!
- My bullet journal for home and life
- My bullet journal for Blogging
- My school reference collection insert, used for keeping track of numbers, classes, goals, semester organization and grades
- My bullet journal for college
- Meal planning and shopping, soon to be moved into my brick-red micro wallet Keelindori by Imperfectly Perfekt (Open [most] Sundays a 5pm EST… Things move quickly so set your alarm!)
- Monthly insert
- All my shop information and brainstorming insert
- Finances insert for all my spending
I am sure to be moving things around soon, as my blog and school inserts expire and I get more organized in shop/blog/school and home life!
I know that it is a LOT of inserts, and it is definitely not for everyone! But I absolutely love carrying this chunky monkey around with me everywhere and I like having all of these things in my hands while I am on the go or at home.
Thank you for stopping by and listening to all my planner jargon!
With the opening of my new Etsy shop, ARTofficial Happiness, I will also be making a resource library for all of my loyal subscribers to print off FREE designs, stickers and coloring pages whenever they want! So make sure you sign up for my newsletter to get the secret password when it is all done!
All the best wishes and positive vibes this November!
